Gary Hunter is Manager of SDI, Inc. Gary began his career in land development and home building in 1971. As CEO, Gary has managed such companies as Stroh Ranch Development, SR Homes, Stroh Ranch Enterprises and other Stroh Ranch affiliated companies. Gary has a history of working with such companies as Witkin Homes, Wood Brothers Homes, Sanford Homes , U.S. Homes and Colonnade Homes.
With over 30 years of experience, Gary provides expertise and professional leadership in the real estate and land development industries. Gary holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Cindi is a true Colorado native and has lived on the front range her entire life. Cindi graduated from the University of Colorado, with a B.A. in accounting. As controller Cindi is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. She maintains an orderly accounting filing system and system controls for all accounting transactions. Cindi also provides financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations along with recommending benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations. She monitors debt levels and compliance with debt covenants and ensures the company complies with local, state and federal reporting requirements and tax filings. Cindi has worked for the company since 1992. Cindi and her husband Andrew have been married since 1992. They are ardent football followers and can always be found rooting for the Denver Broncos and CU Buffs on the weekends while chasing their beloved Cocker Spaniels Floyd and Garvey.
Tracy Hutchins serves as the Director of Governmental Relations. Tracy conducts project research and monitors legislation. She also tracks issues happenings within local, state and federal government that could affect the company and its projects. Proactively, she researches policies to see what changes could be advantageous and which trends might negatively impact any projects in the future. Tracy manages internal and external communication, and contact various media outlets. coordinates legislative efforts by working with state, local, and federal governments as well as the media and participates in financial matters including budgeting and project financial goals. She works directly with government agencies and officials as they relate to individual projects.
After a 10 year career as a publicly elected official for a local municipality and publicly elected director of a large water and sanitation district, Tracy is responsible for all interactions that relate to local municipal codes, planning agencies and policies and public process as they affect each company project. At SDI she is able to use her knowledge and expertise gained through her career in managing a large non-profit, television production, teaching and coaching and working with people of all ages.
